Petrofac is recruiting an ad hoc Instrument Pipefitter to work on the Platform

The role:

We are recruiting an ad hoc Instrument Pipefitter to work on the Platform. The Instrument Pipefitter will carry out all construction, fabrication and installation activities in a safe and efficient manner, in compliance with all statutory requirements.

Specific Duties include:
  • Working with the following tools - Tightening devices, spanner, adjustable wrench, Cutting tools, hacksaw, files and chisels
  • Working with the following equipment - Air and Gas flame cutting equipment, Cutting and Grinding equipment, Impact wrench, Drilling and Rotabroach machine and Pneumatic pressure test pump
  • The ability to read from As build piping isometric and P&ID drawings
  • Ensure Construction and Commissioning activities are carried out in conjunction with construction workpack estimates, reporting any anomalies etc. that would have a cost implication


The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a similar offshore role, will hold a recognised trade qualification and will have a technical qualification at least to the level of HNC (or equivalent)
