As a Barclays Infrastructure Analyst, you will be supporting a number of Business units across the Bank, collaboratively working in a team responsible for the management of Middleware components across core Technologies. This is an exciting opportunity working to strategic goals of delivering a full refresh of the NonStop Infrastructure, providing and maintaining robust and resilient infrastructure across platforms, working with Stakeholders to drive continuous improvements.

What will you be doing?
• Working as part of a small team to deliver HP Nonstop technical support
  • Assisting in the creation of timelines and roadmaps for delivery
  • Performing technical implementation and delivery of project requirements
  • Providing technical suggestions for business working on the project in line with the strategy
  • Carrying out fault diagnosis relating to complex problems, reporting the results of such diagnosis
  • Supporting team members with project delivery as required
What we’re looking for:
• Experience in implementation and management of HP NonStop Infrastructure including but not limited to Capacity Management
  • Knowledge of Safeguard
  • Knowledge of Remote Data Facility
  • Specialist knowledge of other third party components such as the Insider Suite, XYPRO Toolset and Comforte Security Product
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Knowledge of BASE/24
  • Strong analytical / problem solving skills
  • Able to communicate with a wide number of stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritise own workload and ability to escalate to Management where there is a clash on priorities

You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64 acre self-contained site, in a beautiful green environment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play.
