Information & Data Specialist - Remote working - Up to £55k DOE

Your new role
This is a key role in establishing and developing the information reporting and data analysis solutions across all our businesses. Working within our IT Solutions Team the role will enable and support the business achieve its strategic objectives through establishing and continually improving systems, processes, and governance that provide strategic and tactical management information for our businesses. Through leadership in this area and working closely with business stakeholders the role will ensure we are maximising our ability to innovate and produce IT solutions that provide a real tangible business benefit.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Minimum of 3 years in an information management and data analysis type role.
  • Proven track record of partnering with business stakeholders directly, at all levels, to identify opportunities and development requirements.
  • Data Warehouse Design and data modelling. Jet Analytics experience desirable.
  • Working with, and management of, SQL environments essential. Including:
  • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and possibly X++, and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
  • Experience in developing solutions in PowerBI essential (both service platform and embedded D365).
  • ERP lifecycle experience (knowledge of Microsoft D365 F&O (Finance, SCM, Commerce) and Customer Service (CRM) desirable. Including knowledge of:
  • D365 entity store and structures. BYOD experience and associated refresh strategies desirable
  • Management/Financial Reporter tool
  • Security structure and Workspace deployment
  • ATLAS server and designer (Dynamics) for use in both reporting and Data management
  • Experience of data migrations and legacy data access approaches
  • ETL (Extract Transformation and Load)
  • Legacy data access / reporting
  • SQL Queries
  • Cloud deployment: experience of SaaS; Delivering or supporting solutions in Microsoft AZURE.
  • Visual Studio - (2015, 2017, 2019).
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications.
  • Experience of the Agriculture and/or Engineering industry desirable.
