Our client, a leading education provider based in West Yorkshire, is currently recruiting for a TERM TIME ONLY Senior HR Advisor on a permanent basis.

The position is due to start immediately, paying an annual salary of up to c£34,000pa. Additional benefits include health cash plan, discounts/perkbox, flexible family friendly policies and access to extensive CPD programmes and opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience in the sector, however this requirement can be flexible.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

· Proactively support managers/leaders in the effective application of HR policies and procedures, and provide advice on all ER issues, including at hearings and investigations

· Engage in consultation with trade union colleagues in relation to both operational issues/cases and organisational change

· Develop and deliver training courses to middle and senior leaders to raise awareness of people management issues and HR policies/procedures

· Chair job evaluation panels including preparing the relevant paperwork in advance and communicating outcomes within timescales

· Coordinate recruitment, selection and induction processes, including placing advertisements, producing job specifications, offer letters and contracts

· Keep up-to-date with changing employment legislation and new developments and innovations to maintain high standards and contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery

· Deputise for the Director of HR in their absence as directed and offer support and guidance

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week

• Monday - Friday
