We are delighted to be representing a law firm, based in Telford, who are looking to appoint a new HR Advisor on an 18-month fixed-term contract.

This will be a full-time position, with hybridworking (up to 2 days home working), and a salary of up to £30,000.

The client is looking for someone with a previous experience working in a generalist HR capacity, who has experience supporting with recruitment and employee relations.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Overseeing the recruitment process, including liaising with external agencies, creating adverts and attending interviews
  • Carrying out the full onboarding process, drafting and sending out contracts, carrying out reference, right to work and DBS checks
  • Advising on a range of employee relations issues, including managing the absence management process
  • Producing key recruitment reports and metrics relating to vacancy rate, fill rate, applicants per hire and time to hire
  • Maintaining and updated the HR system with accurate and up-to-date employee information

Experience required:

  • Previous experience supporting the end-to-end recruitment experience
  • Assisting with employee relations cases
  • Generalist HR Advisory experience (desirable)
  • CIPD qualified (desirable)

Working hours:

  • 36.25 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday 9am-5.15pm
