Salary: £24,000 - £27,000 per annumOverview:First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Hub Technician on behalf of one of our clients.Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.Duties and Responsibilities for the Hub Technician:Ensure all repair/refurbishment jobs are completed to set quality standards and to define criteria per machine and to time.Test machines in line with company guidelines before delivery to customer to ensure quality criteria has been achieved.Refurbish machines to set quality standards and guidelines including spray painting, cosmetic repairs and valeting.Perform full fault diagnostics on machines to identify all repairs needed to bring the machine to the required standard, including the identification of all parts required.Ordering of parts through SAGE for stock or to complete a repair.Booking in and out parts within SAGE, adhering to current company procedure.Processing daily "Bucket List" to supply recycled parts to Parts Department.Preparing loan machines before dispatch to ensure fully operational.Manage key job stacks in SAGE, within SLA’s, updating SAGE in real time with full progression updates.Ensure that all machines and ancillaries are PA tested and correctly labelled before delivery to customer.Follow all technician/engineer procedures, ensuring they are understood and adhered to.Contribute to key process improvement initiatives.Escalate to your line manager/the Head Office anything that takes you away from successfully fulfilling any of the items detailed in this job description.Skills and Qualifications for the Hub Technician:Educated to GCSE level or above with grade C (or equivalent) pass or above in English and Math’s.Electro/mechanical experience (fault finding and repair).Previous experience within the industrial cleaning sector (desirable not essential).Compliant.Strong communicator.Customer centric.Organised.IT literate.Performance focused.Resilient.Problem solving.Flexible.
