A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a HSE Manager to join a Global leading Manufacturer based in East Yorkshire. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary where you will be responsible for the management & improvement of health & safety for several sites.

As The HSE Manager, Your Responsibilities Will Include
  • Driving and improving performance by implementing H&S strategic direction within the business
  • Running HSE related training and competency programmes
  • Conducting regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Reporting HSE KPI’s to senior leadership
  • Managing & maintaining ISO certifications & key contact for all HSE enquiries
  • Ensure the legal compliance register is updated and any relevant actions are communicated and closed
  • Conducting gap analysis to plan for the achievement of the ISO accreditation.
The ideal candidate will have strong HSE knowledge and experience and a working knowledge of health and safety legislation. NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma or equivalent is essential and IEMA Associate Certificate in Environmental Management would also be desirable. You should be passionate about Health & Safety and driving compliance through employee engagement. You should also have strong reporting & analytical and problem-solving skills and you must be able to influence people at all levels throughout the company.

This role offers a competitive salary and the business is commutable from table from Scarborough, Driffield, Bridlington, Beverley and surrounding areas.
