Are you our next HSE Advisor? We are looking for someone who can help us redefine what’s possible for the HSE team.As part of our ‘Grow with Gatwick’ initiative you’ll be provided with plenty of training and support to ensure you’re developing and growing your career.What is the role?The HSE Advisor is responsible for ensuring HSE compliance and continual improvement in performance.As a HSE Advisor you will deliver the implementation and compliance of HSE vision and strategic approach’s, including management standards (i.e., ISO -45001 and ISO -14001) Measurable against HSE vision.As a HSE Advisor you will demonstrate HSE leadership, culture change with engagement and passion by developing, advising and support initiatives to drive HSE performance, measurable against HSE metrics.What will you do?- Ensure Gatwick Airport’s compliance with all applicable Health, Safety & Environment legislation, measurable against metrics.
- Benchmark and implement best practices, where appropriate, to continually improve HSE performance, measurable against HSE vision.
- Extensive experience of HSE in a multi-function, customer orientated organisation
- Safety and Environmental Management Systems knowledge
- HSE Legislation and enforcement frameworks
- HSE Guidance and Advice
- Internal audit / inspection and Monitor and Review programmes
- Risk assessments (includes e.g., fire safety, Legionella, COSHH, Asbestos, DSE, Manual Handling)
- HSE in a multi-function, critical infrastructure customer orientated organisation
- Delivery of HSE objectives, aims and improvement programmes
- Strong IT and presentation skills. Able to analyse, interpret and present HSE information
- HSE Training and competency requirements
- HSE business compliance understanding
