About The RoleWe currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant – HR Shared Services to join our People Team.Primarily, this role is to provide support to the wider business. This is a fantastic opportunity for a customer focussed individual who has strong administration skills looking to join a fast paced environment within a HR support function.The hours for this role are 8:30am - 5pm, Monday - Friday and there will be a mixture of home and office workingavailable .
  • Please note that this is a Fixed Term Contract until 31/12/2023*
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • You will provide administrative support for the full colleague lifecycle, from recruitment to termination
  • Dealing with a high volume of queries via the HR Shared Services ticketing system, across a broad range of categories
  • You will ensure that these are dealt with in line with agreed Service Level Agreements
  • You will accurately input data into the HR system and will support the business by providing timely and accurate people data
  • Maintaining your knowledge of IPL’s people policies and procedures you will also seek out and implement improvements to any administration processes
What are we looking for?
  • With excellent administrative skills you should have experience of working within a fast-paced high volume environment to targets or Service Level Agreements
  • With outstanding attention to detail you should have the ability to work with the highest level of accuracy and be extremely organised
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and deal with confidential and sensitive information appropriately
  • Possess excellent IT skills, including Excel
  • High level of communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Previous experience of working within a Shared Service Function and/or experience of working within a HR team is desirable.
