HR Services Advisor

In this trusted role as HR Services Advisor, you will be dedicated to specific business areas, working in alignment with the ER team and HR Business Partners. The purpose of your role is to provide advice on the end-to-end employee life cycle, including the execution of business processes in Workday, general HR policy and legislative advice, and you will take accountability for the upskilling of leaders in day-to-day HR processes and tasks. This role is pro-active, and solutions focused, working as part of a wider team to deliver a high-quality service to our colleagues and leaders.

About you

You will be experienced across HR services and systems, with a depth and breadth of knowledge of all HR processes, with the confidence to coach and upskill leaders and colleagues to good customer outcomes. You will have credibility and the ability to manage and build relationships, both with your business area and senior members of the HR team.

You will be able to manage your case load, ensuring that all process and policy questions are owned and actioned timely and accurately. You will have the desire and ambition to develop yourself as a HR professional, becoming a super user in Workday and having detailed knowledge of HR legislation. You will be a champion of our Customer First strategy, with a full understanding of customer segmentation and how to deliver what is truly important to each customer of the service.

More specifically you will have:

  • Solid communication skills, with the ability to coach, empower and upskill leaders.
  • High attention to detail and can process high volumes of work at an exceptional standard.
  • Be process and system focused, with a passion for efficiency and simplification.
  • Customer First mindset with a depth of thinking that gets to the heart of customer needs.
  • A CIPD qualification or be committed to working towards one.
