HR Officer
Maternity Cover
£32 000 per annum
Pertemps Isle of Wight have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Officer to join our client, a national brand based on the Island, on a permanent basis.
As the successful HR Officer, you will bring previous successes from a similar role, and will have a good working knowledge of employment law. This is a busy role and will require liaising with different departments to create a fun and engaging workplace, whilst support the wellbeing of colleagues.
Some of the day-to-day duties will include.
This is a full-time position, based 42 hours per week, working 5 days over 7.
A CIPD Level 5 HR qualification would be highly advantageous, or else the commitment to work towards one. Full training for the role will be provided; however, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisation skills and must have the ability to meet deadlines. Experience within Word and Excel are essential.

- Leading recruitment drives to find the very best people for the business
- Host inductions and deliver appropriate training for new members of staff
- Research recruitment trends, and liaise with local businesses to create employee perks
- Promote and monitor company performance, and deliver training where necessary
- Work alongside the health and safety team, always promoting a safe and positive work environment
- Create and support colleague praise and feedback schemes to improve processes
- Support and encourage staff members on how to manage their health and wellbeing
- Preform back to work interviews and incident reports when necessary
