HR Coordinator | Manchester City Centre | £24,296.12 | Hybrid | Temporary contract until May 2022

A fantastic opportunity to join a large public sector organisation as a HR Coordinator, where you will thrive in a busy, varied role, receiving exposure to all HR related tasks.

Your New Role

In your new role as HR Coordinator, you will gain experience in a truly generalist administrative support role that will add value to your ongoing HR career, with opportunities to get involved in other challenging work.

The successful candidate will share the organisation’s values of fairness, dignity and respect and can support them to build upon their achievements and ensure their vision becomes a reality.

You will work as part of a small team, working proactively and flexibly to ensure you are able to respond quickly to workload demands and changing priorities.

This is a key role within the organisation, supporting the work of the HR Business Partners. You will be involved in a broad range of HR work supporting end to end HR service delivery throughout the employee life-cycle.

You will undertake multiple HR administrative and service delivery tasks involving the end-to-end employee life cycle, recruitment and selection, on-boarding new employees, and payroll related activity.

What you’ll need

- A Human Resources background (essential)
- Experience working in a public sector organisation (desirable)
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work simultaneously on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A high level of accuracy.
- Experience using Itrent (HR system)
- Strong IT skills - Microsoft Packages, particularly excel and office.
- The ability to pick up new systems at a quick pace.
- Experience of working to tight deadlines with a strong result focus.
- Strong attention to detail.
