This newly created role is part of a small team of five and is instrumental in providing a continued first-class HR service to senior leaders and staff within the Trust.
Reporting to the HR Director, the HR Business Partner will be instrumental in the development and delivery of high-quality practices, policies and procedures to staff and senior leaders which reflect the best HR practice.
Responsibilities include:
- Focus on HR and Payroll advisory service to schools
- Policy development and strategic projects on recruitment and retention, well-being and Equality, Diversity & Inclusion
- Ensure the effective operation of HR systems and processes for the full employee lifecycle
- Ensuring compliance with employment law
- Be the lead adviser to the SLT on the implementation and review of the Trust suite of HR Policies and frameworks
- Leading a team of three staff
The successful candidate will be a chartered member of the CIPD or working towards this, coupled with two- or three years of experience operating at a senior management level. You will be conversant in developing HR policies aligned with current employment law.
You will possess a sound working knowledge of generalist HR processes and complex ER cases, with the natural ability to quickly develop positive relationships. You can analyse and interpret complex data confidently, coupled with a high standard of communication, both written and verbal.
You must be a car driver/owner as this role requires visits to all the schools within the Trust.
This is a hybrid role with the potential to be based in a local school when required to be school-based, and an all year through role, 37 hours per week.
Experience within the education sector is preferable, however, the client is open to receiving applications from the care and not-for-profit sectors.
In return, you will be joining a supportive employer which is an advocate in promoting well-being and professional development.
Immediate interviews for suitable candidates.
