Job description

HGV Class 2 Driver based in the Tamworth for a well established automotive client. Majority of work will be trunking to depot’s and RDC’s within a 150 mile radius. Delivery of caged automotive parts. Distance trunking. Overtime available.

Information about the HGV Class 2 Driver role:

- Regular Monday to Friday nights
- 8-9 drops per night
- 10-12 hour night shifts
- Box trailer
- Cages / Taill lifts
- Inter depot/RDC deliveries nationally
- Some overtime opportunities available
- Based near Junction 10 M42
- Regular work throughout 2021 and beyond

HGV Class 2 Driver rates of pay & hours:

- Monday to Friday £12.51 per hour
- Start times between 21:00-23:00
- 12 hour shifts
- Overtime after 8 hours daily paid at £13.69 per hour

Requirements for the HGV Class 2 Driver role:

- Valid C Licence held for at least 3 months
- Valid CPC & Digi tacho card
- Flexibility to undertake additional runs at the customers request
- Commitment to an ongoing role (Potential permanent opportunities)
- To complete a theory test, practical driving assessment and site induction
