Customer Service Administrator

Hours of work - Monday to Friday – 8.30 am – 4.30 pm (4pm on Friday)

Working at a modern facility based at Cley Road, Kingswood Lakeside, Cannock, WS11 8AA with free on-site parking.

Role Summary

Be part of a friendly customer service team delivering a seamless service to our customers by answering inbound calls and emails for order related enquiries and stock information. Processing and management of all incoming customer orders. Providing proactive account management of strategic customers and being prompt at resolving discrepancies ready for issue of customer credits and returns. In the role you will be required to communicate effectively with other departments including planning, logistics and sales teams regarding supply, credit, and delivery.


Duties Include;

  • Processing and/or editing customer orders accurately and notifying customers promptly of a dispatch date.
  • Arranging deliveries and updating customers on order status.
  • Communicating with other departments, such as Purchasing, Warehouse, Quality Department and other sites to ensure order fulfilment.
  • Providing some customers with bespoke reports.
  • Investigating discrepancies.
  • Progressing to deal with dedicated accounts.
  • General administration functions as required with the department to assist others.

You will need

  • English and Maths at GCSE (grades C/4 or above)
  • Good keyboard skills with ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Experience in dealing with a diverse range of people in a customer service setting. Be a good team player with a positive and flexible attitude.
  • A willingness to learn.
