The role will be full time 9 am to 5pm , 5 days per week Monday to Friday with flexibility to work Saturdays when necessary.We are NHS Professionals (NHSP), working together to care for patients in the NHS. In this role you will be located in and working across an area with all the benefits of country living with the convenience of big city life.What You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Assess child and family needs, using the appropriate assessment and risk assessment tools. Ensure that at each contact with a child an assessment of the health and developmental need is conducted.
  • Develop and implement outcome focused care plans and evaluate care given, in partnership with clients.
  • Provide support to families using the Solihull approach model in behaviour management, parenting skills and delivering programmes of care to vulnerable families.
  • Support breastfeeding and parent infant relationships applying the Unicef UK Baby Friendly Initiative standards.
The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.You’ll Have The Following Qualification/experience
  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience as a Health Visitor for a UK hospital within the last 3 years
  • Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices
  • Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines
  • Undertake regular mandatory training*
  • Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
  • Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
