The role will be full time 9 am to 5pm , 5 days per week Monday to Friday with flexibility to work Saturdays when necessary.We are NHS Professionals (NHSP), working together to care for patients in the NHS. - Assess child and family needs, using the appropriate assessment and risk assessment tools. Ensure that at each contact with a child an assessment of the health and developmental need is conducted.
- Develop and implement outcome focused care plans and evaluate care given, in partnership with clients.
- Provide support to families using the Solihull approach model in behaviour management, parenting skills and delivering programmes of care to vulnerable families.
- Support breastfeeding and parent infant relationships applying the Unicef UK Baby Friendly Initiative standards.
- A minimum of 6 months paid experience as a Health Visitor for a UK hospital within the last 3 years
- Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices
- Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines
- Undertake regular mandatory training*
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
- Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
