The primary responsibility of this role is to manage total recruitment services for Churchill Hospital, Oxford, OX3 7LE.

You will join the NHS Professionals team in this critical role as our Recruitment Manager, providing leadership and management to recruitment Consultants, who work in partnership with our NHSP onsite teams, Account Management teams an client stakeholders to provide temporary workforce solutions.

The aim of the Trust Services team is to facilitate meeting the Trust’s flexible workforce demands by filling bank shifts with available Bank workers, whilst ensuring our Bank workers requirements are also met.

The Recruitment Manager will manage a team of Recruitment Consultants to drive and deliver the talent attraction and recruitment services for NHS Professionals including campaigns, screening, processing, and referring relevant applicants into the candidate pipeline using best practice solutions. The post holder is responsible for ensuring only relevant applicants are progressed into the Compliance workstream and continually assesses needs against fulfilment and predicted forecast.

The successful person will need to lead the team, foster collaborative working across all roles, and enhance the route to market - ensuring that our employer brand and positioning places NHSP at the forefront of the healthcare recruitment market.

About you:

  • Previous experience as an in-house recruiter or Talent Acquisition Specialist/Partner.
  • Senior recruitment or management experience.
  • Experience of pro-actively recruiting difficult to fill roles through LinkedIn.
  • Up to date with employment law and best recruitment practice.
  • Highly effective communicator at all levels.
  • Must have a high attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Proficient in writing engaging job adverts.
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
  • Competent at dealing with ever changing demands.
