Head of Service: Recruitment and Retention

Full time/flex working/secondment

As we re-focus our HR Service on the needs of BTHFT in our journey to become an outstanding Trust an opportunity has arisen to lead our Recruitment and Medical Workforce teams and to develop our recruitment and retention strategy.

We are keen to modernise our recruitment pathways and you will play a lead role in making the best use of technology to transform the Service we provide to applicants and to managers in the Trust and to make Bradford a great place to work. Recruiting from our local communities is also extremely important to us and you will work with our Education department to grow our apprenticeship offers and to take a new approach to entry level recruitment.

This is one of two Head of Service roles we have available due to retirement and promotion. The portfolios available are:
  • Medical Workforce
  • Recruitment
  • Workforce Information
  • Flexible Workforce

The portfolio for the successful candidate is flexible and can be negotiated.

We are excited to be a People Promise Exemplar site and you will lead retention and reward interventions which will improve staff experience.

You will provide strategic leadership to our teams developing a quality, comprehensive and customer focussed service.

If you are interested in having the opportunity to transform services we would love to hear from you.
