Position Description

You will provide management, governance and prioritisation of the projects and programmes which help achieve the Allianz UK strategy. Through strong communication and relationship management, you will provide links between business, IT and change delivery, to enable agreement on priorities across areas.

This role will be essential to guarantee the change function achieves change effectively, working across group to ensure change is seen as a trusted partner. You will be a leader of people, setting direction and influencing both your immediate team and across the wider organisation where formal authority is not held.

  • Achieve the desired outcomes from the investment in change activity across the organisation, working collaboratively as part of the Change leadership team.
  • Inspire the work to support the AZ UK Management Board in aligning the strategic investment portfolio with the strategic aims of the company.
  • Orchestrate portfolio activity to ensure the delivery of expected financial and non-financial benefits
  • Plan across multiple years and understanding the strategic direction and local trading and functional demands.
  • Lead, grows and develop the EP3O and collaborate with the wider Change leadership team, to ensure efficient change delivery.
  • Governance and oversight of the portfolio of change to de-risk delivery and maximise value from investment.
  • Provide oversight and insight across the portfolio of Change that includes delivery performance and financial metrics
  • Support change capability improvement across the function to improve Change delivery consistency and predictability.
  • Establish and lead the portfolio governance framework and associated methods, tools and processes.

Skills & Experience

  • P3O, PMO and business architecture capability.
  • Understanding of Agile/Waterfall and other project methodologies.
  • Programme and project delivery and sponsorship skills
  • Strong understanding of project, programme & portfolio management
methodologies.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills.
  • Good business acumen and financial awareness.

Qualifications:
  • Professionally qualified within Change and Portfolio Management field (e.g. MSP, OPEX, P30).
