We are currently looking for a Chefto work with our integral team at DST Leconfield, HU17 7LX
Job Responsibilities
- £11.28 per hour
- Full time – 40 hours a week – 5 days over 7
- Shifts ranging between 5.30am-7pm – no late evenings!

- Leading your team to success – assisting in managing a small team of chefs in a busy kitchen
- Ensure all staff training is up to date and duties are delegated
- Ordering stock and stocktakes/rotation
- Filling out relevant daily paperwork
- You’ll be preparing and serving breakfast, lunch and dinner to the highest standard
- Be extremely passionate about food and ensure each meal you plate up is to the highest standard
- Following recipe cards to prepare, cook and serve a range of meals
- Completing daily paperwork to cover due diligence
- Assisting with deliveries and stock checks
- Running sections and working well as part of a busy team of chefs in a fast paced environment
- To monitor and record temperatures of fridges, freezers, hot cabinets and serveries.
- Assisting in daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans
- Full knowledge of all menu items served
- Management of production and food levels to ensure minimal wastage
- Act as a trainer/ coach for new team members to learn procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks.
- Undertake relevant training as required
- Previous experience in a similar food service environment
- Food safety level 2
- Relevant culinary qualification
- Security checks required for this role
- Flexibility and the ability to innovate
