We are currently looking for a Chefto work with our integral team at DST Leconfield, HU17 7LX

Job Responsibilities
  • £11.28 per hour
  • Full time – 40 hours a week – 5 days over 7
  • Shifts ranging between 5.30am-7pm – no late evenings!

What you’ll be doing
  • Leading your team to success – assisting in managing a small team of chefs in a busy kitchen
  • Ensure all staff training is up to date and duties are delegated
  • Ordering stock and stocktakes/rotation
  • Filling out relevant daily paperwork
  • You’ll be preparing and serving breakfast, lunch and dinner to the highest standard
  • Be extremely passionate about food and ensure each meal you plate up is to the highest standard
  • Following recipe cards to prepare, cook and serve a range of meals
  • Completing daily paperwork to cover due diligence
  • Assisting with deliveries and stock checks
  • Running sections and working well as part of a busy team of chefs in a fast paced environment
  • To monitor and record temperatures of fridges, freezers, hot cabinets and serveries.
  • Assisting in daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans
  • Full knowledge of all menu items served
  • Management of production and food levels to ensure minimal wastage
  • Act as a trainer/ coach for new team members to learn procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks.
  • Undertake relevant training as required
Experience
  • Previous experience in a similar food service environment 
  • Food safety level 2
  • Relevant culinary qualification
  • Security checks required for this role
  • Flexibility and the ability to innovate
