Our Guest Services Team deliver an outstanding front-line customer service experience to our guests, ensuring they have an unforgettable time during their Longleat journey. You will be responding to all customer queries in person, via e-mail or telephone to guarantee they have the best experience possible.

What will this role entail?

Reporting to our Assistant Operations Manager, you will focus on providing a guest focused service and where appropriate, you’ll also enhance revenue through upselling and cross-selling as well as helping them to make informed decisions about their visit.

Key Duties Will Include
  • To provide all reasonable assistance that guests may request.
  • Dealing with guest queries in a helpful and professional manner.
  • To enhance revenue through up-selling and cross-selling.
  • To record customer services issues in a timely and accurate way.
  • Maintain a broad knowledge of the site, its attractions, its venues and its events and engaging with Guests to help them make informed choices and to promote sales.
  • Answer all guest communications via e-mail and telephone in timely, accurate and courteous manner.
  • Working within a team and cooperating with your colleagues.
  • Process cash, credit/debit card payments ensuring all transactions are handled in line with Company’s financial control procedures.
What will I need to be considered for this vacancy?
  • Proven experience in a customer service environment.
  • Good level of numeracy and literacy, to a minimum level of GSCE grade C
  • Passion for delivering a first-class customer service
  • Although not essential, cash handling experience would be highly advantageous.
  • Outgoing and enthusiastic personality
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Can demonstrate team working skills

As a Guest Services Team Member you will receive a rate of up to £10.60 per hour, in addition to a range of attractive benefits that include;

    • 16-17: £8.50
    • 18-20: £9.50
    • 21-22: £10.35

You’ll be employed on a fixed term contract ending 7th January 2024, shorter contracts are also available. Working hours to vary over a 7-day rota basis, including weekends, evening and bank holidays as required. Earliest start time from 8am, and latest finish time up to 8pm, varying in accordance with opening times.
