Graphic Designer - Communications Coordinator

Band 3 at : Central Manchester Healthcare NHS Trust, St. Marys Hospital, Hathersage Road, M13 0JH

Duties Include:

1. To support the development of the copy and design to ensure professional presentation and engaging content which is timely, up to date and relevant and interesting to the target audience.

2. To develop copy and lead the production and distribution of the Hive briefings.

3. To support all stakeholder engagement across Saint Mary’s MCS through the development and delivery of high quality internal and external communications in partnership with the Group Communications Team where needed.

4. Knowledge and experience of using Adobe Creative Cloud

5. Knowledge of applying communication techniques for a large, complex organization

6. Knowledge and experience of using Adobe Creative Cloud including Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro and Photo Shop

7. Knowledge of applying communication techniques for a large, complex organization

  • Experience and demonstrated interest in media and communications

Knowledge of using social media management tools and writing content for different audiences

Essential Skills:

Experience of using Adobe CC including Photoshop, Illustrator and Premier Pro

Experience of working in a busy office either in the public or private section and managing tasks with often conflicting deadlines

  • Monday to Friday

  • Graphic design: 1 year (preferred)
