Summary Of The Role
  • Graduate Engineer for heavylift and transport projects
  • Salary £27-£30,000 per annum with additional benefits
  • Working at the Mammoet office in Hixon, Staffordshire with regular travel required to project sites

Factors such as remote locations, harsh climates and a strong emphasis on the environment are constantly driving us towards smarter and safer solutions.What You’ll Be DoingYou will work in a team of engineers responsible for developing engineering solutions and concepts for a wide variety of projects including evaluating, selecting and calculating appropriate heavy lifting and transport operations.Reporting to the Engineering Team Leader, this is a full-time permanent position to be based at our office in Hixon, Staffordshire. Travel to other UK sites and the Netherlands will be required.The graduate engineer will work in a team of engineers to:
  • Ensure designs comply with legal standards plus company and client requirements.
  • Develop and apply structural calculations to evaluate, select and test operations.
  • Apply solutions that improve the integrity and function designs.
  • Liaise with internal and external customers including face to face interaction with clients on site.
  • Develop solutions to support sales and tendering activities.
  • Manage projects through to execution using engineering principles and techniques.
  • Ensure business related decisions are in compliance with SHEQ standards and procedures.
What You’ll Need
  • Educated to degree level or above in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering is essential.
  • Proven knowledge and experience of MS Office and AutoCAD.
  • Good level of English both verbal and written.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
  • Prepared to work away from home on a project basis (approx. 60/40 split Office/Site Work)
