Overview

Mitchell Adam are eager to announce their newly established partnership with an expansive UK manufacturing organisation, who are looking to add a Graduate Accounts Assistant to their vibrant and energetic team in Birmingham City Centre. They are looking for someone who has studied a maths related discipline at University, with Accounting and Finance being the most desired.

You will receive the opportunity to work closely with a team of experienced Accounting professionals, you will start in this position as a Graduate Accounts Assistant, and through hard-work and assistance from your colleagues, you will become an experienced Accounts Assistant by the end of your time in this role. You will be relying upon your skills learnt from your studies, combined with your ambition and motivation to excel in this industry. You will be covering both aspects of Accounts Payable and Receivable, whilst also spending time completing Credit Control and some administrative duties. You will experience all aspects of transactional accounting, and will gain fantastic experience in this role.

Skills required

  • To be immediately available or on at most a one week notice period.
  • To have a degree in a discipline that is related to Accounting is required. High A level grades encouraged but not essential.
  • To have experience working in an office is desired, a graduate with a placement year would be the ideal candidate for this role, but one without a placement year would still be considered if they have some interesting experience and great communication skills.
  • Intuition and motivation, this role requires someone who is willing to be productive and achieve the desired goals.
