Due to internal progression, we have an amazing opportunity to take the reins in this flagship venue.

A previous Finalist in Best Beer Pub for the Great British Pub Awards and the home of sport in Wolverhampton - The Hogshead is a fantastic pub well positioned for ongoing success.

The Hogshead is part of our exciting new Social Pub & Kitchen format - this venue combines the best sports viewing in the city with a great range of cask and craft beer, cocktails and pizzas.

This is a brilliant pub centrally located in Wolverhampton and just a short walk from Molineux which guarantees a great atmosphere every match day for ‘Wolves’. The Hogs is perfect for a passionate and independent GM who enjoys driving sales, creating events and leading from the front.

The Hogshead is diverse and full of potential, catering to everyone from students, Camra regulars, daytime shoppers, sports fans to cocktails lovers and the late-night party crowd!

If you’re an experienced General Manager who loves a fast-paced environment, driving sales through big matchday sessions, or creating that must go to late night atmosphere this is the business for you.

The large bar is home to a wide range of rotational cask and craft and services a flexible open plan space that can accommodate dining, live music, or a full house of sports fans!

The open plan central area is flanked by 3 great smaller areas which can be well zoned for bookings or smaller events depending on the occasion - be that a different match on the screens, a bottomless brunch or works night out.

With a deceptively large external garden featuring its own bar and sports viewing the venue can transition between multiple reasons to visit and provide something for everyone.

As General Manager you should have impeccable standards, be passionate about creating fantastic experiences, love sport, cask & craft beer and people, not to mention being committed to developing the amazing team that are already in place

The successful General Manager will be a self-motivated high calibre individual with great leadership qualities capable of interacting with sport and late night drink customers alike and have a flair for marketing and key weekly event management.

We are looking for someone with a track record of people development with an ability to deliver strong sales and profit performance.

You will have an innovative approach to driving sales by appealing to a diverse customer base with unique and exciting reasons to visit.

As a General Manager, you will need to be able to demonstrate great leadership skills and

the ability to build a high performing team in order to control, develop and improve all

aspects of the business including: P&L, people, standards, legal compliance, service and

brand integrity.

We require all our General Managers to hold a Personal License
