To find out more about us check: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baa_aiJ4L7EEaton Corporation’s Aerospace Group has an opening for a General Contracts Manager to support EMEA region supporting its Conveyance Business unit with approximately $375M in annual sales of Conveyance products globally in the aerospace industry.This role is responsible for leading contract management activity for the commercial, distribution and applicable defense aerospace markets. Duties include commercial negotiation, negotiation of terms and conditions, contract lifecycle management, warranty and change management. The role reports to the Business Unit Contract Manager for the Division and serves as the lead for contracting with assigned aerospace Conveyance product customers, on behalf of Eaton plants and businesses, building FED Conveyance products worldwide.This is a fully remote position and can be located anywhere in the UK.Your Main Responsibilities
  • Providing Independent analysis of business/contract issues to support decision making and following the requirements of the contract to responsible departments as required
  • Facilitating internal review of agreements and supports the commercial execution of contracts. Responsible for maintaining positive customer interactions, proactively ensuring cntractual compliance and performance
  • Partnering with other functions (Sales, Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Customer Service) by providing analysis of business/contractual issues to risk mitigation planning and execution
  • Participating in regular business reviews for new and momentum business, including pricing, Statement of Work (SOW) verification, and terms and conditions verification
  • Leading the negotiation of agreements and management/mitigation of significant claims and disputes to provide maximum benefit to the Division
  • Building & maintaining customer relationships through effective communication, service standards and using Voice of the Customer to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded
  • Ensuring compliance with all Aerospace, Division, business unit processes and procedures, Federal Acquisition Regulations and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations
  • Communicating status of on-going contractual matters to all levels of the organization.
QualificationsYour essential skills we are looking for:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Extensive experience with complex Contracts with strong knowledge of contract terms
  • Business governance skills
  • Demonstrated negotiating skills
  • Working Knowledge of EMEA Government Contracting requirements
  • Awareness of USA Government Contracting requirements
  • Strong communication skills (Verbal and Written)
  • Customer focused (balanced with good business acumen and confidence to discuss challenging positions)
  • Action Oriented and ability to work in time sensitive environment
Desired
  • Law Degree, WCC Certification or NCMA certification
  • Aerospace industry experience
