Job Description

Pertemps West Bromwich are currently recruiting for a Production Operative / FLT Driver to work for our client based in the Oldbury location.

Duties will include (but not limited to):
  • Carrying out production orders
  • Loading manufacturing machinery with raw materials
  • Operating machinery associated with manufacturing process
  • Responsible weighing raw materials being prepared for manufacture
  • Working along the production line from raw materials to packing the finished goods
  • Unloading and loading vehicles
  • Reporting any machinery faults to Production Manager
  • Comply with Health and Safety regulations

Essential criteria that the candidate will need are:
  • FLT Counterbalance licence
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Ability to work independently on own initiative
  • Flexibility to work overtime as and when required

Hours of work:
Monday - Friday
8am - 16:30pm with an early finish on a Friday
30 minute unpaid lunch
10 minute unpaid break

This role will be paying £10.70 per hour.
