Financial Controller / Wirral / Salary £75,000 - £80,000

We have a great opportunity for an ambitious Fully Qualified Financial Controller, to join our clients growing finance team. Our client are a well-known organisation, continuing to grow from strength to strength in their market.

Reporting directly into an experienced Head of Finance you will be a hands-on Financial Controller, with responsibility for overseeing all day-to-day financial activities within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Management of the Finance team, (including AP/AR) providing technical guidance and support.
  • Preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts.
  • Overseeing balance sheet and ledger reconciliations
  • You will work alongside the commercial team to produce the monthly reporting pack.
  • Developing the reporting processes to improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.
  • Assisting budgeting/forecasting processes and cash flow reporting
  • You will assist with statutory accounts and preparing for the annual audit.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for efficiencies and process improvements, implementing changes to enhance financial operations.

Key Skills

  • Fully Qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
  • Capable of implementing strong financial controls and processes
  • Mentor and leader cable of developing people
