Description

Great role overseeing financial and regulatory reporting and undertake financial management including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budgeting and forecast preparation, and development of internal control policies. Postholder will review reports prepared by Senior Finance Analyst; submit returns to JFSC; respond to requests from auditors; assist with alignment project and implementation; identify overspends and trends and manage cash flow; support year end close process; assist with business continuity plan and testing; monitor areas of operational risk which require improvement; identify training and development requirements.

Candidate will have ACCA/ICAEW qualification and monthly management accounting experience and annual statutory experience; thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures; up to date knowledge of IFRS; good experience in MS Word and Excel; experience in Globus and MS Navision desirable but not mandatory.

Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
