RG Consultancy are proud to be working with an excellent, growing well established company based in Halifax who are looking to recruit a finance manager to join this large accounts team. This is a permanent placement, offering some excellent benefits and working patterns.

You will be responsible for a small team and report to the Financial Controller

Main Duties

  • Overseeing the finance team - supporting the daily activities and duties, alongside driving the business forward.
  • Overseeing high volume transactions
  • Preparation of the monthly management accounts
  • Accruals, prepayments, journals
  • Manage the cash flow
  • Oversee the purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control
  • Manage the credit queries including aged debtor reporting and credit limits etc.
  • Putting processes in place and setting KPIs for the finance department
  • Other ad-hoc duties

Skills

  • Supervisory/management experience is essential
  • Strong MS Excel skills including pivot tables and V-Lookups
