We’re seeking a Finance Manager to join an unrivalled automotive restoration company where excellence is a common goal. This is a Permanent role based on-site near Daventry offering a salary in the region of £43,000-£50,000 plus Benefits to include:

25 Days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays (they close on BH’s)

The Role:

As the conductor of our clients financial orchestra, you will oversee, manage, and inspire a team of four finance professionals. As the Finance Manager your responsibilities will cover Accounts Payable, Banking, Supplier Relationship Management, and Payroll whilst ensuring month-end journals, reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations dance under your guidance.

Key Responsibilities of the Finance Manager:

Financial reporting and business partnering with operational areas.

Expertly manage expense policies, offering guidance to employees and managers.

Provide cover for managed areas during holidays and sickness.

Play a pivotal role in system implementations, fostering team comfort with new Finance and HR/Payroll systems.

Business Planning

Supply Chain assistance

Audit and Tax assistance

BOM cost analysis

Credit Card Management and Reconciliations

Managing the team calendar

Assisting on employee travel bookings

Finance KPI management

Help liaise with HR on policies and payroll topics.

Assist with Special Projects Accounting

Manage weekly payment reports and ensure payments are categorised correctly.

Assistance with other Accounts duties

Who Are We Looking For?

You, our ideal Finance Manager candidate, possess:

Broad finance experience with focus on Accounts Payable and Payroll.

Understanding and appreciation for manufacturing and brand requirements.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating calmness, clarity of thought, and decisive authority under pressure.

Flexibility for travel within the UK and Europe.

Determination to drive the business to ’Best-in-Class’ performance standards.

Lateral thinking and structured, objective decision-making.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and meticulous attention to detail.

Experience, skills requirements:

Finance experience with a recognised qualification.

Management experience of a small team.

Stock experience and knowledge of Supply Chain and Logistics.

Demonstrable experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.

Proficiency in all MS packages, with advanced skills in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and other finance data management and modelling tools.
Hours: Monday - Friday: 8am -5pm - All onsite, with flexibility.
