Pay Rate: £22.00 - £26.00 Depending on Experience & Position

Inside IR35 We have numerous positions available for Graduate Engineers to join our prestigious Automotive OEM Client at their site in Gaydon, within Body Engineering. This is an excellent opportunity for a freshly graduated Engineer to join the engineering team as a contract engineer to demonstrate their ability to deliver engineering based on their knowledge and experience gained through their degree. The client will provide on the job training for specific tools and methods as well as provide training related to the area within the business to be deployed. We fully understand that the recruit will need to grow in to their role before they can become fully effective. This role is for a new graduate who would like to grow and develop within Automotive engineering. The successful candidates will be provided with the necessary training and on the job guidance to develop their engineering skills and knowledge in the areas of body or chassis engineering. The aspiration is for capable graduates without any experience of working within the automotive industry to demonstrate their ability to learn and deliver engineering. Positions available, maximum pay rate and skills / knowledge required: Test Engineer - £22ph Experience of leading or working on a team to deliver a complex project - involving multiple systems and resources. A passion for conducting robust experiments and analysing objective data to drive decision making. The ability to quickly develop their understanding of Vehicle Dynamics fundamentals through working with team members and using their own initiative and curiosity. Systems Engineer - £25ph Background in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical or Electronic Discipline. Understanding of the consideration of engineering multiple elements to deliver a single system goal. Component and Systems Hardware Engineer - £24.50ph Prior experience of CAD systems would be useful. Knowledge of Chassis systems including suspension and steering components. Structural component detail engineering design - castings, forgings, pressings including Design for Manufacture Component and Systems Software Engineer - £26ph A knowledge of engineering design principles gained through university experience as well as work experience Knowledge of software languages & Toolsets (e.g., Python, C++, Matlab, etc.). Knowledge of software generation & test methods CAE Engineer - £24.50ph A knowledge of engineering principles, the creation of engineering geometry and analysis of engineering design through the use of CAE methods.
