Our client is a successful, rapidly growing business with a global footprint. They are now looking to recruit an experienced and suitably qualified (or part qualified if studying) accountant, to become their UK Finance Manager. You will be working closely with the Managing Director and senior team, providing accurate financial information for 3 businesses in the group - approx’ group turnover of £20m. This role would suit an experienced management accountant who has worked for a similar-sized, dynamic SME business and is looking for the next step in their career. Alternatively, you could be an experienced Finance Manager who is looking for a new challenge, and naturally thrives in a fast-paced accounting role, with a broad range of responsibilities.Our client is offering a highly competitive basic salary plus benefits, genuine career growth opportunities and the chance to join a business who are looking to grow rapidly over the next 3-5 years!Key duties & responsibilities:* Preparing accurate management accounts for the 3 businesses, working closely with the business leaders and assisting with any queries and variance analysis.* Producing balance sheet reconciliations.* Preparing payroll for 3rd party processing. Posting all journals and payroll reconciliations.* Manage the company pension scheme.* Completion of HMRC reporting, including VAT.* Management of inter-company accounting, foreign currency exchange, Intrastats and EC sales lists.* Maintain and manage the fixed asset register.* Assist the MD with year end accounting and audit work.* Compile the annual company budgets in conjunction with the management team.* Manage cash flow and produce regular forecasting.* To continually improve on processes as the company develops and expands.Skills and experience required:* ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or part-qualified (active studier/finalist).* Previous experience working in an SME sized organisation, in a responsible accounting position.* Experienced in producing management accounts, forecasting, budgeting and reporting.* Very good IT skills including MS Excel (pivot tables & vlookups).* Excellent communication skills, proactive and wants to get involved in all commercial aspects of the business.* Strong attention to detail and commercially astute.* well organised and able to work to deadlines.* Some line management experience would be beneficial, but this is not essential.* Own transport and UK driving license - office is based in a rural area near to Banbury.If you feel that you have the skills and experience that our client is looking for, please apply today for a fast response.
