Robert Half are recruiting a Finance Manager role that would suit an ambitious qualified accountant with at least 3 years post qualified experience. The Finance Manager role will be based from Chippenham 2 days a week, with up to 3 days working from home. You will be joining a growing business which has an SME feel whilst being part of a wider group, offering scope for progression and exposure to a wide range of duties on a day to day basis.The roleResponsibilitiesThe Finance Manager will be responsible for a subsidiary of the group, and will gain exposure to a range of duties/responsibilities including
  • Budgeting and forecasting.
  • Business partnering with internal stakeholders including the financial reporting team, payroll and head of tax.
  • Financial reporting.
  • Supporting with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • VAT returns.
  • Financial analysis.
  • Managing a team of 2.
ProfileThis role would suit an ambitious individual with the following skills/attributes:
  • 3+ years post qualified experience - ACA preferred but ACCA/CIMA will be considered.
  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills with the ability to business partner.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • A balance of financial and management accounting.
