Would you love to play an active role in shaping the direction of GXO?Here at GXO, we are currently looking for a Finance Business Partner to join us on a full time, permanent basis to support one of our Business Units. This role is based in Daventry, Northamptonshire, however, will cover multiple sites around the Midlands, where you’ll work closely with site finance and operational teams to support in ensuring financial targets and met and maximised.Pay, benefits and more:We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £75,000 - £80,000 per annum, plus car allowance. In addition, you will receive 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll also have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other perks.What you’ll do on a typical day:
  • Lead the site finance teams, providing support and direction as required whilst ensuring preparation and timely submission of key reports is achieved
  • Drive continuous improvement in sites, particularly in the areas of management and financial reporting and analysis, designing and implementing standard reporting tools
  • Challenge site performance and recommend ideas to improve productivity, efficiency, cost control and profitability, whilst supporting in maximising gain share and success fee opportunities
  • Support implementation of new business wins into site operations as well as support the BD team with new business tenders as and when required
What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Past financial senior management experience, ideally in a supply chain or logistics environment
  • Fully qualified CIMA or equivalent
  • Experience in driving and implementing process improvements of financial and operational practices
  • Effective stakeholder management, both internal and external, and at varying levels
