Job objectives and responsibilities
- The successful candidate will be responsible for complete commercial/financial compliance, reporting and performance for the South West region of power stations, working alongside the site Facilities Managers (FM).
Main duties
- Completion and agreement of the monthly Application For Payment (AFP) in line with site FM and client requirements
- Supporting budgeting and ensuring cost control
- Forecasting
- Ownership and management of site weekly, monthly and annual performance reporting
- Adherence and endorsement of the specific contract that is operated under (CCS/NEC)
- Adherence and endorsement of internal process and procedure to improve performance and maximise growth
- Governance of online commercial portfolio (CEMAR)
- Working together with relevant departments to achieve the expected level of service delivery
- Subcontractor management
- Client relationship management
- Risk Management
- Cashflow control
- Ad-Hoc tasks upon request
Person Specification
- Relevant qualifications (AAT or degree preferable)
- Experience of working in a similar role(s) with a finance/commercial background
- Experience of NEC format of contract (desirable)
- Experience of managing stakeholder relationship (internal, client, subcontractors etc.)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and mindset
- Ability to adapt
- IT literate
