Are you an experienced Finance Administrator? Do you have working knowledge and experience using Sage packages? Are you looking for a part time role with the potential to grow? Do you want to work with a close-knit team and become a vital part of the business operations?

Adecco Bristol are delighted to be recruiting for a Finance Administrator on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract within an established, leading supplier of the design and installation of commercial kitchens based in North Somerset. Although this is currently a fixed term contract, for the right candidate there is potential for this position to become permanent and the possibility for it to develop into something with more responsibility.

As a stand-alone finance role, you will be responsible for seeing out the process of a small to medium sized finance function in its entirety. Reporting to the Managing Director, the right candidate will already have experience working without supervision and will have the ability to use their intuition on when something needs approval or escalation.

Responsibilities Include

Credit Control - Chase and send reminders on debt due to be recovered, have an understanding on when debts are due, update the managing director throughout the process.

Sales Ledger - Produce and send all sales invoices, ensure invoices have all been sent and are in order at month end, calculate and bill for storage each month.

Purchase Ledger -Order purchase invoices for managing director to authorise, collate all correspondence and action for all transactions and statements, collect expenses and receipts.

Admin -Arrange for monthly van stock takes to be carried out and ensure all paperwork has been completed correctly by each engineer, arrange office stock takes, update all reports for final stock take figures and provide information for the managing director, add to the monthly credit card spreadsheet (all expenses), administer and ensure all costs are itemised on the cost sheet, escalate any unpaid costs from cost sheet for the managing director to provide comments, other ad hoc tasks.

Essential
  • Working knowledge of Sage.
  • Experience working as a Finance Assistant or similar (minimum of 1 year).
  • The ability to manage your time and work under deadlines.
  • Highly organised.
