The Role:

As a Finance Administrator for the Cash & Banking team, you’ll support the finance team in assisting the cash banking, reconciling the bank receipts, and general finance administration duties. At City Plumbing, we have a long history of providing our Finance Administrators with funding and incentives to complete their Finance qualifications, with countless examples of Finance Administrators progressing into more Senior roles within our Finance team.

Key Responsibilities

As a Finance Administrator for the Cash & Banking team, you’ll support the finance team in assisting the cash banking, reconciling the bank receipts, and general finance administration duties, such as:

• Daily bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts ensuring items are matched and queries escalated quickly.
• Maintaining the cash & banking email inbox.
• Assisting in the month end process for the Cash & Banking team.
• Uploading daily bank statements to the finance system.
• Monthly bank sheet reconcilations.
• Ad hoc analysis of receipt/payment data.

You:

Skills and competencies

• Good level of experience using Excel or Google Sheets.
• Superb communication skills both written and verbal.
• Methodical and strong attention to detail.
• Well organised with good time management.
• IT Literate with a good understanding of Excel and Formulas
• Understanding of Financial Reconciling would be advantageous but is not essential.
