Together, we’re working at the pace of change to improve patient lives with diagnostic tools that address the world’s biggest health challenges.The Field Service Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for servicing, repairing and installing a wide range of our products and IT solutions at customers sites, including electrical and mechanical testing, in accordance with maintenance contracts. You will diagnose system failures and determines most cost-effective solution. You will escalate complex issues to a greater level of technical support or quality reporting system. We are looking for professional, motivated, friendly, independent, and technically savvy Engineer who will do what it takes to look after our customers and represent our high standards.This position is part of the South West Field Service Team and will be field based in the Gloucester area. - Continuously seek to add value to the services provided and achieve first time fixes, leading to reduced breakdown times, lower costs to customer, thus gaining customer satisfaction and retention whilst helping to achieve market leadership.
- Working closely and communicating professionally with regional teams and other internal departments to build relationships that result in exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Ensure preventative maintenance inspections and service modifications are completed in the specified time frames.
- Ensure an effective quality system through accurate and timely completion of all paperwork and reports.
- Achieve departmental goals and objectives to meet the company’s operational plan.
- Weekend working is expected on a 1 in 4 week basis
- Degree, BTEC, ONC or HNC in Electro-mechanical or Electrical Engineering or will consider equivalent work experience.
- Experience maintaining electro-mechanical / electrical systems at customer sites.
- Strong team-player with good trouble-shooting skills, someone who is motivated and driven to provide the highest level of customer experience.
- Ability to travel when required.
