  • Hours of work: 35 hours a week + on- call (1 in 3)
  • Shift patterns: On rotation with another Field Care Manager.

Week 1: Monday - Friday 06:45–14:45.

Week 2: Monday - Friday 13:45–21:30

  • Closing date: Tuesday 2nd January 2023
  • Interview date: Wednesday 3rd January 2023

It is essential to work 1 in 3 weekends on the on-call rota on Friday, between 5 pm – 9:30 pm and then 6:30 am - 9:30 pm Saturday and Sunday. This brings the salary to the maximum amount of £29,942 per annum.

We are looking to recruit a Field Care Supervisor or Senior Care Assistant who is ready for the next step in their Career. As a Field Care Manager with Guild Care, you will support in training the next generation of Care Assistants and bringing in new clients to make sure we provide the best possible service.

You will offer coaching and support to new carers while assisting the office team with compliance and customer reviews.

Our main duties will include:

  • Ensuring Carers are trained to the highest standard
  • Supporting the branch team with auditing and compliance
  • Spot checks and supervision with Care Assistants
  • Meetings with customers to review care plans
  • Conducting risk assessments

Do you meet the following criteria?

Essential

  • At least 3 years’ experience working within domiciliary care
  • A good standard of spoken and written English language
  • Knowledge of Care Certificate requirements
  • Knowledge of Care Quality Commission Fundamental Standards
  • Willing to work shifts
  • Full driving licence with access to a car

Desirable

  • At least 1 year in a care supervision or care co-ordinator role
  • Train the Trainer qualification
  • Level 3 Health & Social Care Qualification or similar e.g Competency Assessor
