Faculty Support Manager

Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Faculty Support Team within the Faculty of Computing, Engineering, and Science at the University of South Wales, with responsibility for overseeing and driving forward planning and performance functions.


Based at our Treforest campus but with the option of flexible and remote working, this is a role where you can utilise your range of data analysis, process improvement and people skills to support and drive forward our strategic priorities. Occasional visits to USW’s other campuses in Newport and Cardiff will also be necessary.


The role is pivotal to the successful operation of the Faculty with line management for the Faculty Support Assistant and wider input to the professional support team functions. You will bring a proactive and collaborative approach to the role with the ability to demonstrate quality and credibility in everything you do.


This is a full time permanent post.

If you are a successful candidate and this position will be your first professional services role at the University (or you are currently employed by PSS Ltd), you will be employed by Professional and Support Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of South Wales, which provides services to the University and Colleges. If you are an internal professional services candidate, you will be continue to be employed by the University of South Wales.
