Your role as a Factory Cleaner with DFS


At DFS we are looking for a Factory Cleaner to join our growing Manufacturing team on a Permanent basis, working 40.0 Hours per Week40.0 Hours per Week.

As a Factory Cleaner you will be responsible for maintaining the safety of our factories and making sure that our colleagues have a clean and tidy environment to work in. Your role within DFS Manufacturing will make sure that the operations can run smoothly and safely.

On occasion you may be required to assist in other areas of production for example if the warehouse and production operative teams are busy you may be asked to support moving or loading furniture or products around the factory.


What you an bring to the role of Factory Cleaner

  • Ability to work in a self motivated manner.
  • Ability to work compliantly within Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Physically fit and be able to lift and carry furniture and heavy objects.

We are looking for both experienced people and people that are wanting to learn a new skill. We love to invest in our colleagues and so providing the training needed is something we are happy to do.

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours:Full Time.

We operate our factories on two shifts. The early shift works Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm and the late shift works Monday to Thursday 2pm to 12.20am.

Salary: 9.86 - 9.86 Year per hour, plus overtime paid at time and a third.
