Production Operative

At DFS we are looking for a Production Operative to join our growing Manufacturing team on a Permanent basis, working 39.0 Hours per Week39.0 Hours per Week.

As a Production Operative you will learn all about our factories and how we hand craft each piece furniture. In this role you will work across all of our factory teams from our sewing machinists to our upholsters learning about how each role works independently and as part of the wider factory. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about learning something new and we can teach you everything you need to develop your craft.

• Ability to comply with Heath and Safety regulations
• Physically fit and able to lift and carry furniture
• Desire to work in a fast paced Furniture Manufacturing site and develop your skills

We are looking for both experienced people and people that are wanting to learn a new skill. We love to invest in our colleagues and so providing the training needed is something we are happy to do.

Hours:Full Time, 39 hours per week

We operate our factories on two shifts. The early shift works Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm and the late shift works Monday to Thursday 2pm to 12.20am.

Salary: 9.00 - 9.00 Hour per hour, plus overtime paid at time and a third.
