Our facilities team play a significant role in supporting our internal customers working on a varied range of requirements across multiple functions.

We have a real opportunity for a passionate, driven, Facilities Coordinatorto join our team. To coordinate facilities, maintenance functions and modifications to the Aggreko Dumbarton Lomondgate plant & equipment. To support other Aggreko sites as required. We are looking for someone who can be a champion of health & safety with a thorough knowledge of current health, safety and environmental legislation and to keep abreast of any new legislation. Someone organised and methodical when it comes to planning your workload.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the control of facilities and maintenance contractors and ensure compliance with legislative requirements and the health and safety of all site personnel. Liaise with contractors and prepare the necessary documentation. Carry out contractor inductions/refreshers as required.
  • Ensure that all contractor liability insurances, risk assessments, method statements, COSHH assessments & equipment checks are up-to-date and compliant.
  • Responsible for issuing Contractor Work Access Guides, being the point of contact for all contractors & ensuring that all paperwork is accurately completed and auditable.
  • Scheduling of planned and unplanned contractor work on site. Raise actions from service/repair paperwork and escalate and drive resolution of issues, particularly where this has an impact on the production schedule, operational or if business critical.
  • Preparation and ownership of all plant and site maintenance planned preventative maintenance schedules in compliance with current legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage all re-active site emergency breakdowns and repairs in conjunction with the maintenance department and ensure no negative impact to the production schedule, operations or the health, safety and environmental concerns of the site.
  • Support the Maintenance Section Manager in the general maintenance requirements of the manufacturing and office facilities.
  • Work closely with Section Leaders to identify opportunities for continual improvement and implement where agreed.
  • Maintain the maintenance software programme, SharePoint site, Mestec (T&A system) and seek to improve system efficiency.
  • Inform Facilities Manager of any impending maintenance or replacement requirements that are likely to incur significant capital investment.
  • Responsible for update of presentation of departmental KPI’s and management of various plant equipment breakdown analysis.
  • Update & action of LOLER register, vendor appraisals and all necessary administration tasks.

Education/Qualifications

IOSH Professional qualification in health and safety and preferably hold or working towards NEBOSH level 3 certificate.

Be a WIFM member or recognised Facilities Management institution.
