Facilities Administrator
Band 3 – 5 - starting salary £22,643
Full-time - 37 hours a week
Eastleigh Borough Council is looking to recruit a permanent Facilities Administrator working within the Council’s Facilities Management Team. It is envisaged that there will be the opportunity for the right job holder to develop and progress from an Administrator to a Facilities Co-ordinator through successful completion of various training courses whilst continuing to learn and apply the learning within the role.
The Facilities Management Team provide a commercially focussed service across a range of commercial and operational sites throughout the borough of Eastleigh.
The role is to support the Facilities Manager in the delivery of all aspects of hard/soft facilities management including day to day monitoring of the in-house maintenance and cleaning teams together with contractor management of all planned and repair maintenance requirements.
Ideally, some experience working within, or knowledge of facilities, estates or maintenance would be advantageous but not essential as these skills and experience will be developed.
The role requires a self-motivated individual with a flexible aptitude towards work, continuous improvement, and learning.
It is envisaged that the successful applicant will undertake IWFM qualifications at level 2 and 3 and career and salary progression to Facilities Co-ordinator will depend upon successful completion of each level together with demonstratable application and improvement in their skills and knowledge.
