Meridian Business Support is currently looking for an Administrator/Expeditor for our client based in East Kilbride. Immediate start possible. This is temp to perm position with a full time work opportunity for correct candidate after 12 weeks of assignment.

Salary:
£22000-£25000pa DOE Working days/hours:
Monday-Thursday: 7.30am to 4.30pm
Friday: 7.30am to 3.30pm
This includes an hour lunch break daily Admin/Expeditor Job Purpose:

Facilitating the ordering of materials through out client ERP system for various factory sites and departments.
Working with supply chain to secure the appropriate goods and coordinate delivery.
Responsible for accurate ordering of materials to meet deadlines.
Help in assessing the stock control across multiple sites.
This is both a demanding and rewarding job role working as part of a dynamic focused team, full training will be given if you have the transferable skillset. Admin/Expeditor Job Duties:

Work with authorised suppliers to determine best value including coordinating the timing and means of delivery
Handle any related to suppler service, such as poor product quality or delivery delays escalating to Procurement Manager
Find solutions to stock shortfalls, vendor errors, and other problems as they arise
Work with various departments to determine the amount and type of goods required
Keep an accurate inventory of goods on hand
Ensure company ordering and tracking systems are kept up to date.
Ensure that the appropriate goods are transferred to each department in a timely manner
Work with stores teams to ensure priority stocked lines are maintained.
Seek out ways to improve efficiency save money on the procurement of goods and requests. Admin/Expeditor Skills and Qualifications:

Solid mathematical skills, basic computer skills, understanding of the goods being procured preferred but not essential, some experience in a business or delivery setting, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, good interpersonal skills for working with various departments as well as suppliers’ excellent planning skills, organisational skills, and attention to detail; problem-solving skills; flexible scheduling.
