What willl you do in the role of an Events and Hospitality Assistant:

  • As an Events and Hospitality Assistant you will be primarily responsible for managing, and responding to customer enquiries via e-mail, live chat, and telephone
  • Advising customers on hospitality policies and regulations
  • Manage customer enquiries directly through web customer enquiries and via internal colleagues for corporate clients
  • Supporting the Customer Service Team Leader in order to ensure the timely delivery of the official hospitality programme
  • Using your English language skills plus any other languages you will be preparing documents for use in the customer process
  • Data input using Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, CRM, and PowerPoint, and also using the bespoke internal systems
  • Any other administration tasks as required by the Customer Service Team Leader
  • Assist in the preparation of CRM communications, and other written documents


What Skills & Experience are required for the role of Events and Hospitality Assistant?

  • Customer Service and administrative experience in a professional, fast paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal in English skills
  • You must be customer focused with excellent telephone manners
  • Self-motivated, organised, professional, and conscientious
  • Good numeracy and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work under pressure and demonstrate a flexible approach to working hours
  • Previous knowledge of the main Microsoft Office tools Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Working 9.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday Some flexibility on hours is potential
  • 33 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays

Fixed term contract until March 2023
