This highly successful national company dealing with projects around the UK and liaising with suppliers around the world is looking for a Logistics Co-ordinator, possibly an ambitious graduate looking for a fantastic career opportunity. About the role
Working in a mixture of home and office based work as part of a friendly and upbeat team you will be liaising and co-ordinating with a variety of customers and working on busy and challenging projects. Duties will include:
Planning and implementing delivery schedules with both customers and suppliers to ensure the right materials are received to meet deadlines
Importing products from overseas using various international freight forwarders and co-ordinating all UK deliveries
Making sure international regulations are adhered to and producing documentation for customs clearance
Carrying out varied admin tasks including updating spreadsheets, purchase order processing and checking supplier invoices

Skills and experience required
The ideal candidate will have experience in a logistics co-ordinator or office based customer service role or a graduate with a logistics, supply chain or business based degree looking for a brilliant career opportunity. You will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines. You will be comfortable using Word and Excel. Due to the location, you will realistically need your own transport.
