Job title - Event Supervisor

Hours - Mon to Fri 9am - 5pm with weekend work on Events.

Traffic Management knowledge is essential!

About The Role

The Events Supervisor role is a busy and varied role, required to provide full support to the Events Manager.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Monitoring and reporting on performance, ensuring that we exceed our targets and service levels.
  • Answering phone calls and responding to enquiries from clients, as well as general enquiries and visitors to the location
  • Attending client and local authority meeting
  • Providing regular and ad hoc management information and reports
  • Ensuring resources are managed within agreed budgets.
  • Responsibility for completion of operative briefings
  • Assisting in designing event plans and organising and scheduling appointments for the Events Manager and Assistants
  • Planning meetings and taking minutes
  • Assisting in the preparation of scheduled reports and preparing quotations
  • Keeping accurate records of all clients’ requirements
  • Actioning requests for SRN and Non-SRN applications
  • Creating and maintaining systems with all required works
  • Creating customer invoices from the Orion works directory
  • Creating client specific job and van packs

The role is predominantly based at our Retford depot, however, travel will be required to attend events and meetings.

About You

A highly organised and pro-active individual. You will thrive planning and being involved in the management of traffic management provisions of an event from start to finish. You will boast excellent communication skills, have a hands-on approach and ’can do’ attitude. A professional individual you will find it easy to form effective working relationships with people on all levels. As you know events can take place at any time of day/ night, so therefore, a flexible working attitude is a must.

  • Adheres to and sets high standard of personal admin, daily time keeping.
