Job ProfileEstimator required to join a well-established roofing and cladding specialist located in the Bradford area. The company offer a range of services to councils, building contractors and private clients across the region and due to continuous growth, require an experienced Estimator to join their team.Estimator Position Overview
  • Completion of full tender process; constructing bespoke quotations, estimations and BoQ’s utilising drawings, specifications and site surveying.
  • Attend site meetings when necessary and document accordingly.
  • Identify areas of risk.
  • Negotiation with clients.
  • Establish, develop and maintain new and existing professional relationships.
  • Calculate breakdowns/budgets for labour, material, plant etc.
  • Negotiation of prices with suppliers.
  • Completing material take offs.
  • Monitor project costings.
  • Ensuring administrative tasks are actioned and record keeping is up to date.
  • Work closely with management to ensure an efficient and effective execution of each project.
  • Develop and maintain own technical knowledge ensuring compliance and that current industry standards are consistently met.
  • Further general duties not detailed above will be required relevant to the role and support of the overall operation.
Estimator Position Requirements
  • Estimating experience within the roofing and cladding sector
  • Commutable distance to Bradford
  • Full UK Driving License
  • IT literate
  • Knowledge of estimating software
Estimator Position Benefits
  • Starting salary circa £40,000 (negotiable dependant on experience)
